The following benefit information is applicable for full-time regular status employees and part-time regular status employees whose regular hours are 30 hours or more per work week.
Health – HMO and HSA plans through Kaiser Permanente for employees and eligible dependents.
Dental – Preventive, basic and comprehensive dental coverage through Guardian for employees and eligible dependents.
Vision – Stand-alone vision program through Eye-Med covers exam and materials after co-pay.
Life - $50,000 life policy through Lincoln Financial Life Insurance Co.; family coverage and additional voluntary coverage also available.
Short- and Long-Term Disability – plans available through Lincoln Financial Life Insurance Co. Benefits provide a portion of earnings during extended absences due to illness or injury. STD begins after 14 days and continues through 90 days. LTD begins after 90 days.
403(b) Retirement Savings Plan
Mental Health Partners offers a tax-deferred 403(b) retirement plan through Lincoln Financial to all regular and part-time employees who are at least 21 years of age without limitation of a minimum number of hours per week. Employees become eligible immediately following hire. MHP matches the first 10% of employee’s contribution at a rate of 50%, up to a maximum annual match of 5%. Employee contributions are always 100% vested and matching contributions fully vest over the course of 4 years.
Paid Time Off
Mental Health Partners provides generous paid time off to support and promote employee wellness and work/life balance.
Vacation – 12 days per year through completion of 3 years, 15 days per year after 3 years through completion of 6 years, 18 days per year after 6 years through completion of 10 years, and 22 days per year after completion of 10 years continuous service. Maximum accrual levels apply.
Sick Leave – 9 days per calendar year; maximum accruals levels apply and accruals are pro-rated based on scheduled hours.
*Paid vacation and sick leave are accrued per pay-period, based on full-time schedule (40 hours/week). Amounts are prorated for part-time regular employees. Apart from approved FMLA, unpaid time off in lieu of or in addition to accrued time off is not allowed.
Holidays – Mental Health Partners observes 9 holidays per year as days off with pay, based on scheduled hours, for staff that are regularly scheduled to work on the days that the holidays fall. In addition, five personal days, pro-rated based on scheduled hours, are provided for regular status employees each year. Employees hired during the last quarter of the calendar year (October, November, or December) will receive a a pro-rated amount of personal days based on month of hire.
Paid Administrative Leave – Mental Health Partners provides up to 5 days per calendar year due to death in employee’s immediate family or for jury duty.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Medical and dependent care spending accounts are available. Contributions are made on a pre-tax basis and may be used to reimburse eligible medical or dependent care expenses.
Education and Development
Mental Health Partners supports continued employee education and development by providing or sponsoring onsite activities that may benefit a number of staff, through payment or reimbursement of the cost of approved training activities or resources as requested by individual staff, and through pay for time away from work to attend approved activities.
