Since 1922, Boulder Community Hospital has proudly served the citizens of Boulder County as a non-profit, community owned and locally governed hospital. Exempla was formed in 1998, bringing together Saint Joseph Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center and the Exempla Physician Network in a commitment to provide responsive health care to our communities. Exempla opened Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center to meet the needs of the northwest metropolitan area. Exempla is a not-for-profit organization sponsored by Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System and Community First Foundation.

Exempla and all three hospitals have reputations for excellence. Exempla co-authored the 2006 Colorado Hospital Report Card Act.  Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center provides comprehensive medical services in a uniquely designed healing environment and received Avatar International's 2006 National Award for Exemplary Service. In 2006, Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center was the first hospital in Colorado to be awarded the Baby Friendly designation by UNICEF and the World Health Organization.

Rose Community Foundation supports efforts to improve the quality of life throughout the Greater Denver community through its endowed grantmaking programs, and by advising and assisting donors who wish to make thoughtful charitable investments to better the community.

The Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation is a professional philanthropic organization supporting the positive development of children through grants and partnerships with other sectors of our community.  The Foundation will focus primarily on the state of Colorado and concentrate its grantmaking on programs that benefit children.
