MHP is part of 24/7/365 statewide mental health crisis response system
Mental Health Partners (MHP) now provides vastly improved access to mental health services specifically designed to help those in a crisis. MHP is part of a statewide network that extends the reach of behavioral healthcare in our community and throughout Colorado. These services, provided through collaborations among the state’s mental health centers and other facilities, provide individuals experiencing a mental health and/or substance-use crisis with support intended to help them return safely to their communities.
Among the programs provided are:

Crisis Stabilization Units for adults and youths that combine walk-in availability with beds for short-term stays, as needed
Mobile Crisis Services providing teams of crisis counselors who travel to community locations to better serve those in need of this type of support
Respite beds for both adults and children in need of short-term additional support, structure and added services to maintain or regain stability and avoid a higher level of care
