A Wintery October Update From MHP Exec Team
MHP would like to thank clients and staff for their patience this week as several days of heavy snow disrupted services at our sites, requiring us to reschedule appointments, meetings and other programs. While we always hate to disrupt client care, we felt this decision was necessary to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. As we move into months with possible high rates of snow and other wintery weather, we ask our community to continue to check out our social media sites and website for the most updated information on possible closures or hour modifications.
In other news…
Our financial team has officially closed the books on fiscal year 2018-2019. We are happy to report that MHP met our budget and closed the year “in the black. ” This is great news! Kudos to the financial team – and our entire MHP staff – for all the hard work!
We also want to express appreciation to our Broomfield team, and other MHP staff, who supported the move into our new locations in Broomfield at 799 and 899 Hwy 287. We were able to complete their move right on schedule so we could begin client services on October 1! Lastly, in February, the MHP Board of Directors informed MHP staff and community they were pausing the CEO search to focus on several major initiatives that began in 2018 when Hans Wiik stepped in as Interim CEO. As MHP begins to reach the end of his initial commitment as Interim CEO, the Board of Directors has recommenced the CEO search. Staff and community members can expect more clarity and information on this search in the near future.
We are wishing everyone a safe, warm and happy Halloween!
