Previous Annual Reports

Dear Community Partners

During this time of uncertainty and challenge, we hope this message finds you well. We would like to take a moment to let you know how much we truly appreciate your continued support for Mental Health Partners (MHP). Because of community support—your support—we are able to provide essential mental health and addiction recovery services to our clients and their loved ones, as well as residents throughout the region, which would otherwise be impossible for them to receive.
We are pleased to share with you the accompanying FY19 Annual Report, which clearly demonstrates how MHP, as a complex organization, is there for our community during times of stability and crisis. We are more than four facilities in Boulder, two facilities in Longmont and an office in Lafayette and Broomfield. Rather, we are an efficient, effective system of compassionate care undergirded by the power of philanthropy that allows us to support clients and staff in innovative ways.

You’ll see this report highlights various areas of MHP, including the Integrated Health Home at our Ryan Wellness Center – a collaborative effort with our community partners Clinica Family Health and Dental Aid; ways our clinicians and support staff provide whole-person care to our clients through our behavioral health home model; how we have trained more than 3,300 area residents in suicide prevention education training in less than two years; and more.

We hope this report will provide you confidence as a major supporter and friend of Mental Health Partners.  We are extremely proud of this organization and honored to work with colleagues who show up each day to do their part in creating healthier minds, lives and communities.

P.S.   Even when there isn’t a pandemic occurring, our clients often struggle to obtain resources that most of us take for granted every day. The COVID-19 public health crisis has amplified the breadth and depth of our clients’ needs and increased their urgency. In response, we have established the “COVID Relief Fund for Clients” fund to support clients directly affected by the current public health crisis. “After my dad died, I missed him so much that some days I couldn't stop crying. Still, I didn't think I could afford grief counseling, until I met with the financial team at MHP. I realized there were a lot of affordable options and began receiving support. These days, I still miss my dad, but I am back to living my life.”
"I've always been the strong one in my family so I couldn't tell them I was feeling so overwhelmed it was becoming hard for me to get up in the morning. My care team at MHP was not only confidential and discreet, they gave me the tools to express how I feel to those closest to me. Now, I am closer than ever to my family and the strongest I've ever been.”
“Since I could remember, I have experienced depression and anxiety. Ignoring my symptoms and "getting by" was not creating a high quality of life for me. When I found MHP, I found help. Now, I have a supportive care team that puts me first, which allows me to put my mental health first. My life is happier and I am more optimistic for my future.”
