Early Diversion Get Engaged (EDGE)

EDGE is a grant-funded service that dispatches mental health professionals on applicable police calls within the cities of Boulder and Longmont. EDGE staff provide assessments and referrals to individuals who are struggling with a mental health issue or behavioral outcome. The goal of the program is to divert persons from jail and/or the emergency room who will be better served by mental health or substance use treatment.

EDGE is available in MHP’s Boulder locations.

Partnership for Active Community Engagement (PACE)

Collaborative outpatient program with Boulder County Probation Department, Community Justice Services, and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department for persons on probation who struggle with mental illness, substance abuse and criminal behavior.

PACE is available in MHP’s Boulder locations.

Jail Based Behavioral Health Service (JBBS)

Partnership program based in the Boulder County Jail and administered by the Office of Behavioral Health and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. MHP has two behavioral health clinicians, prescriber services and Peer Support Specialists providing services in the jail to inmates.

Step 2:

Meet with our expert and compassionate care team at a location convenient for you to complete your full assessment and registration. Depending on the location, walk-in or scheduled appointments are available.

Step 3:

The care team will provide you an individualized plan of action to begin your supportive mental health and/or addiction services. On average, individuals will be receiving care 7-days from their completed assessment appointment.
