One Good Meal

Feed Someone In Need Today

Too often, mental health issues and homelessness or food instability go hand-in-hand. To counter this, Mental Health Partners (MHP) offers Chinook Café in our Ryan Wellness Center (1000 Alpine Ave, Boulder, CO). Chinook Café prepares a warm and healthy lunchtime meal for staff and clients Monday-Friday. These meals are an affordable way for clients and staff to meet and engage with each other in a friendly and community-oriented atmosphere for clients to enjoy a warm meal. Chinook Café also provides vocational training to clients through guidance by staff and a trained gourmet chef!

Even with affordable prices, some client cannot afford a meal. To serve this need, MHP established the One Good Meal, which provides meal vouchers to clients who otherwise could not afford meals, as an incentive for clients to engage or remain in care and to provide a chance for someone who may be experiencing a personal or mental health crisis time to enjoy a healthy meal. Donation amounts start at just $5.

It is estimated, that of the 360,000 residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties, more than 60,000 individuals suffer with a form of mental illness. However, many of these residents don’t seek care from a mental health and addiction recovery center because of stigma, fear or lack of resources. Thanks to donor support, and partnerships with local organizations, MHP is able connect with all members of the community and provide immediate access to expert mental health and addiction recovery care so people can enjoy healthy and fulfilling lives. As a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, we rely on community support to help us provide convenient, affordable and accessible mental health and addiction recovery services to individuals and families in Boulder and Broomfield counties. Your support is appreciated and valued!

Coming Soon: Provide a Warm Welcome

Contribute to our New Welcome Home Kits

It is common for housing instability or insecurity to occur when someone is being challenged by mental health and addiction issues. As part of our whole-person care approach, MHP’s Housing team helps connect clients with stable and transitional housing so they can create a new beginning in a new home for themselves. Unfortunately, many clients arrive at their new living spaces without the basics to turn it into a home, such as paper towels, toilet paper, hygiene products, and cleaning materials.  A simple donation of $35  enables our staff to put together “Welcome Home Kits,” which provides basic household items so clients can truly have a warm welcome when they arrive in their new home.
