I am a licensed psychologist and nationally recognized expert in sexual assault and traumatic stress, and treatment for survivors. I currently serve as the Director of Trauma Services at Mental Health Partners and Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA), the sexual assault resource center serving Boulder County, Colorado. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my animals, gardening, teaching yoga, and cheering for my favorite sports teams.

Denise Bertrand-Lovato, LCSW

I provide individual and family therapy, specializing in working with youth and families. I use a variety of therapy modalities, including developmental psychotherapy, EMDR, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, to help people move through trauma and enjoy life again. In my free time I love to bike, travel, spend time with family, and attend concerts and cultural events.

Therapist
I work primarily with adults with complex trauma and PTSD, focusing on helping clients develop an understanding of how trauma can impact both the brain and body. I recently completed the Veterans Behavioral Health Certificate. Helping empower people in their recovery is what makes this work meaningful to me. In my free time you can find me cooking, running, and playing outdoors with my dog, Echo.

Lauren Dachman, MA, LPC
Bilingual Therapist (Spanish/English)
I help children and families through cognitive-behavioral therapy and traumainformed coaching. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy using my language skills to help families connect, communicate, and break cycles of abuse. In my free time I enjoy being in the company of loved ones, spending time outdoors, and walking with my dog, Gus.

Alnora Sights, MA
Bilingual Therapist (Spanish/English)
I primarily work with teenagers and adults using integrative and strength-based approaches. I am from Guatemala and my bicultural background allows me to support the Hispanic and Latinx communities in their primary language. As the newest member of this team, my purpose is to empower clients through self-understanding and self-compassion. In my free time I enjoy going on walks, listening to podcasts, hiking, training at the gym, and trying new foods.

Michelle Chabino, MA, LPC, CAC II

I am a licensed professional counselor and certified addiction specialist. I provide individual, family and group therapy to adults and youth. I help clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, and depression. In therapy I utilize a wide variety of therapy methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and walking with my dog.

Facility Dog, ADI Certified
I am the facility dog with Moving Beyond Trauma. I received my advanced training from Canine Companions for Independence and am expertly trained to work in a professional setting. I know over 40 commands that allow me to interact with clients and staff in a gentle and loving way. In my free time I enjoy long walks, being in my backyard chasing squirrels, and playing with my dog sister Roo and cat brother Yogi.
