BV Rotary Event “Teen Issues”

Boulder Valley Rotary/Boulder Community Hospital/MHP Boulder Valley Rotary, Boulder Community Hospital, and Mental Health Partners come together to present this five-part community lecture series. May 22nd will be focused on mental health and teen issues.

MHFA Class

MHP MHP staff will be instructing a MHFA class in Boulder to community members. Mental Health First Aid is a national program that teaches the skills to respond to the signs of mental illness and substance use.

SPAN Staff Presentation

SPAN + MHP  MHP outreach staff will provide general information on MHP services to SPAN staff for referrals for victims of assault. SPAN services include: Safe, confidential emergency shelter for survivors of violence and their children.

April 30th will be presented by Ann Noonan, Director of Substance Use Disorder Center at Mental Health Partners.

AQUIRE Youth Mental Health Event

Longmont High School + SAMH/City of Longmont Accessing Quality Interventions and Resources for Everyone (AQUIRE) is a parent and community event on mental health. Parents and youth, educators, and adults who work with middle school and high school students are welcome!

Community Agency Night

Main Street School, Longmont Community Agency Night at Main Street School on Wednesday, April 25th from 5:30-7:00 PM.  The event is focused on our transition youth population, though all high school families district-wide are invited through the Special Education Department.

Student Outreach for Survivors Resource Fair

FRCC Westminster MESA and Moving Beyond Trauma representatives shared materials and resources to student survivors at this college led resource fair at Front Range Community College. This fair is intended to provide resources that serve, educate, and advocate for students and our community who have been impacted by crime and trauma.
