Please join the City of Longmont next Wednesday, August 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Avenue, for what might be one of the most lively and provocative sessions we will present this year.
Michael Block, Chief Housing Officer for the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, and Deb Hill, Housing Navigator for Boulder County Housing and Human Services, will facilitate an interactive conversation on Homelessness and Housing. In social services speak, it will be a solution-focused conversation on homelessness, from a data-driven perspective. Landlords are fundamental and essential housing providers. Their voices and experience must be heard and must contribute if we are ever to evolve to a housing continuum that has a place for everyone in our community. This is an opportunity to say what you think, and to hear from two presenters who each have a world of experience and a stimulating viewpoint on housing in our community.
FREE, OPEN TO ALL. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. No realtor CEU’s this month.
On September 12, we will have attorney Liz Parker from the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Boulder County District Attorney. Liz will be talking about The World of Scams and Cons and how to protect yourself and your business.
On October 10, attorney Martin Beier will be presenting on Leasing Landmines. Marty gave this presentation to the Landlord Training Alliance four years ago and it was enthusiastically received. He is updating his excellent presentation with new information for landlords.
