MHP Represented at National Council for Behavioral Health Conference
It was an honor to have staff represent Mental Health Partners at the recent National Council for Behavioral Health Conference (NatCon19). For 50 years, the National Council for Behavioral Health has been the unifying voice of America’s mental health and addictions service and treatment organizations. Each year, they host the largest behavioral health conference in health care called NatCon. This year, NatCon19 celebrated 50 years of achievements in the behavioral health industry and the new era of innovation.
The MHP staff who attended NatCon19 included Toni Moon, Director of Integrated Health; Esther Clark, Grants Manager, and Amanda Bushek, Program Manager. Amanda was also selected to present a poster during their poster presentation. Her poster represented the Solution Focused framework as a model for engagement and resiliency. Amanda noted,
“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to have attended and presented at NatCon19. Being able to absorb the scope of behavioral health from a national lens helps expand my perspective and ignite my connection to the mission of this work.”
As a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery, MHP is always looking for chances to interact with others in our field, and showcase the impactful work our staff does every day. For more info on NatCon19, please visit: www.eventscribe.com/2019/NatCon19.
