Mental Health Partners Discontinues DUI-Related Services
As of July 1, 2018, Mental Health Partners (MHP) has decided to no longer provide DUI-related services to individuals who have received a DUI citation. MHP will, however, still provide therapy and medication-related services to individuals who are undergoing DUI education and treatment services from another community provider.
This decision was made after a thorough analysis of the costs and benefits of the program, total number of community members served and organizational resources and capacity. Two staff members who provided DUI-related education and treatment services for MHP have moved on to pursue other professional opportunities and we don’t anticipate any other staff or services will be affected.
We are grateful for the opportunity to provide DUI-related services to the community for the past 3 ½ years. As Boulder/Broomfield counties’ leading mental health and substance abuse care provider, we offer a comprehensive list of mental health and substance abuse care services to community members.
Please visit MHP’s website (www.mhpcolorado.org) for a full list of services. Questions about this announcement should be directed to Kristina Shaw, MHP Director of Marketing/Public Information Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
