Mental Health Partners Welcomes Two New Board Members
Mary Tracy Mock and Carolyn Terry appointed to MHP’s Board of Directors
LAFAYETTE, Colo., February 28, 2023 – Mental Health Partners (MHP) has elected Mary Tracy Mock and Carolyn Terry to its Board of Directors. Mock and Terry join five returning Board Members in a shared goal of ensuring MHP’s vision, growth, and commitment to serve the community for another 60 years and beyond.
MHP’s Board of Directors oversees the organization’s overall, long-term strategy, with a special focus on improving client care and ensuring financial stability.
During the selection process, MHP’s Leadership Team and Employee Advisory Council evaluate organizational needs to determine the desired skillset, then works to identify candidates with the knowledge, skills, and expertise required.
“As we continue to innovate in the space of whole-person care and create a Digital Bridge to Health, we are thrilled to be adding leaders in the fields of physical health and information technology onto our Board,” said Co-CEO Jennifer Leosz.
Mary Tracy Mock brings over 35 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry and serves on MHP’s Board of Directors Advocacy Committee as Chair. She has an extensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems in her current role as a Principal at MTM Value Based Care Strategies and Solutions, where she has helped implement innovative solutions for clients such as Peak Med Direct Primary Care, Friday Health Plans, and Front Range Orthopedics and Spine Practice and Ambulatory Surgery Center.
“I joined the MHP Board to give back to the community in which I have spent most of my life, while accelerating equitable access to much-needed mental and behavioral health services and advancing whole-person health,” said Mock.
As an Executive Director of Engineering and decades of professional experience in the telecommunications and cable industry, Carolyn Terry serves on MHP’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee. She has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – a global gold standard in project management.
“As a Board Member, I look forward to utilizing my skills to support MHP’s mission of providing access to mental health and substance use care that leads to more fulfilling, thriving lives, families and communities,” said Terry.
In addition to ensuring board members have both the technical skillset and professional experience to contribute to MHP’s vision and strategy, passion and a commitment to serving our clients, community, and colleagues plays an important role in who is ultimately selected to serve on the MHP Board of Directors.
“At the heart of it, we look for people to serve on our Board who are experienced, mission-driven, and passionate about our purpose to serve the community,” said Co-CEO Dixie Casford. “Both Mary and Carolyn have the professional expertise and personal dedication that we need to contribute to MHP’s 60-year legacy – and our mission of healthy minds, healthy lives, healthy communities. We are delighted to welcome them to MHP.”
