After careful consideration, Mental Health Partners (MHP) has decided to continue to provide most of our services remotely via telehealth (i.e. phone and video calls), except for in-person services we are currently offering on a limited basis, until at least May 31, 2020. Our decision was based on a variety of factors, including our ability to ensure staff and client safety, alignment with local public health organizations, and other operational processes.
In our 55-year history, MHP has never faced such a large-scale adjustment to our traditional operational structure. We know these continued modifications may cause challenges for some of our clients or community members, and we recognize that no process is without its faults, but we are heartened to see the accessibility and quality of our services have been maintained at a high-standard over these past six weeks. We are confident our current operations and continued use of telehealth services will allow us to provide uninterrupted essential mental health and addiction recovery services to our community and clients during this unprecedented public health crisis.
New clients can still start care with MHP by calling our main phone number (303) 443-8500 and our 24/7 Walk-in Crisis Center & Addiction Services remains open. Community members not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms can utilize the Walk-In facility at 3180 Airport Road, Boulder CO. If an individual is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we encourage him/her to call 1 (844) 493-TALK (8255) or text TALK to 38255 to receive mental health crisis care.
As May 31st gets closer, MHP will determine if, how and when we will begin to transitioning some of our remote/telehealth services back to in-person services. Once the decision is made, we will provide adequate notice and clarity to staff, clients and community prior to the transition occurring.
We will post operational updates on our COVID-19 webpage (www.mhpcolorado.org/covid-19-updates) and social media pages (Facebook @MentalHealthPartnersCO | Twitter: @MentalHealthCO). Information about what MHP locations are currently open for in-person services can be found at: www.mhpcolorado.org/about/locations.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation during this time.
