I love presenting all of our trainings. My current passions are training participants in ASIST and MHFA because the longer course lengths allow for an opportunity to connect with people taking the training. Community members have such extensive knowledge and lived experience, so facilitating these groups fosters lively conversation and learning.

Working with Mental Health Partners has given me the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of clients, coworkers, and community members. I truly believe our work with clients and the community both transforms and saves lives. It’s an honor to be part of a team so full of passion and experience.

All to often, individuals do not have the opportunity to connect their lived experiences with valuable resources. Training allows me the chance to teach individuals vital skills and to create a collaborative learning environment that does just that.

I chose to become a trainer after working in the clinical crisis field for over 8 years. During my years of clinical work, I had the opportunity to work with thousands of individuals who were struggling. And, what was somehow even more impactful to me was that each of them had some social circle-whether family, friends, clergy, neighbors, or a significant other- who wanted to assist them in receiving appropriate help or attaining recovery. They just didn’t know how to provide support or connect their loved one with the resources that individual needed. Training allows me to teach our community those skills and loop them in on what resources are available.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends. I have a passion for travelling and cooking, and I love live music and spending time in nature.
