Mental Health Partners Selected for 2020 Delta Analytics Service Grant Program

Mental Health Partners (MHP) has been selected by Delta Analytics to participate in their 2020 Delta Analytics Service Grant program cohort. This program will provide MHP expert data analytics and technology capacity-building support from data scientists, analysts or software developers.

One of the goals of this program is to use the new emergency department utilization data exchange to test more advanced data analytics processes in order to build user-friendly, reliable, and real-time data dashboards so our care teams can quickly and easily see which clients have used an emergency department within the past 24-hours, and use that data to inform workflow for outreach and care coordination.

“This is a fabulous opportunity to expand our technology capabilities and reach at MHP,” said Andrew Bronson, VP of Information Services for MHP.

Bronson also notes this analysis could lead to creating a predictive model that can inform more proactive outreach and engagement to prevent ED utilization in the first place. “We appreciate this opportunity and support by Delta Analytics,” said Bronson. “We are excited to see what the future holds as we combine efforts!”

Delta Analytics is a nonprofit founded by a group of San Francisco Bay Area economic consultants seeking to leverage their data skills for the welfare of the community. It is run entirely by volunteers comprised of a rich community of data professionals who use their expertise in transforming raw data into meaningful and useful information for public service. Their projects range from compiling metrics to managing databases or producing statistical inference.

“Our fellows work full-time in the private sector and generously volunteer their time to help nonprofits build data expertise and reach their goals,” said Sean McPherson, Director of Project Operations at Delta Analytics. “Mental Health Partners’ commitment to building healthier minds, lives and communities is something we are proud to support through this program.”
