Debra Edelson

Debra has practiced adult psychiatry for over 30 years, working in various settings - including academic and private practice. She repeatedly gravitates back to community mental health, the most rewarding of all, and has now enjoyed employment at Mental Health Partners since 2017. As a general psychiatrist, Debra has vast experience treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. She is frequently in awe of her patients' courage, perseverance, and resiliency in dealing with their challenges and appreciates a collaborative approach in helping them towards recovery. When not working, Debra enjoys contemplating what it would be like to be a bird, practicing Tai Chi, and streaming gritty series on television.
