James Rose
James joined our team in 2025 after several years in private practice. His aim is to provide a lighthearted, judgment-free, and somatically safe space to explore behavior change. His practice draws from knowledge of lifestyle medicine and his own challenges with behavior change, utilizing skills such as motivational interviewing (MI) and appreciative inquiry (AI) to uncover his clients’ values and inspiration. His approach begins with “the best of what’s present” to set the stage for setting goals, encouraging clients to celebrate the “small” stuff. James views each person as the expert of their own experience, and himself as an informed passenger on their wellness journey. In his free time, he can be found marveling in nature, moving in novel ways, engaging mindfulness, and spending quality time with loved ones.
