Lauren Wilkins
Lauren joined our team in 2011 as an intern on the Child Crisis team before serving as a Functional Family Therapist. She is now an Intensive Family Therapist. Her approach to care focuses on meeting individuals where they are and tailoring methods to their unique needs. She combines trauma-focused models with an attachment lens, utilizing several evidence-based treatment techniques - such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Lauren believes in accessible care for all and is passionate about serving diverse populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ clients. She finds joy in witnessing clients’ growth and resilience, celebrating their achievements as they develop new coping strategies and enhance their overall well-being. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, DIY projects, college football (Go Buffs!), and hanging out with her dog.
