Purnima Jagtap
Purnima is a dedicated and compassionate person who loves working with children and families. Her journey into the field of social work began while volunteering with minoritized families in Mumbai, India. With extensive experience volunteering and working with various nonprofit organizations in New York City and Boulder, she brings a unique perspective to her therapeutic practice. She feels fortunate to have had a diverse array of experiences in India and the U.S. that have helped her cultivate resilience and a deep understanding of cultural diversity. Purnima's approach is rooted in empathy and tailored to each child's unique needs. By using mindfulness, art, music, play, and evidence-based modalities, Purnima helps children explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and blossom to their full potential. Outside of work, Purnima performs Indian music within her community. She also enjoys reading, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family.
